19thC Stone Print Blocks

A beautiful decorative item From France - either display on an entry console, or stand up on a window sill. These 19thC lithography stone print blocks with hardware/lock illustrations were used to create French catalogues, probably dating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. 
Lithography, or printing from soft stone, largely took the place of engraving after about 1852.  A decorative piece of printing history from another time.
